Hmm... No response on my previous message. Did I provide not enough
information about the problem, or was my message inappropiate?
I also searched the google code repository, but no bug was filed for this
issue.
A little answer would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Hi Peter,

Actual (minimal) code showing the issue is almost always the best way
to communicate your needs to the list.
I don't know if it's relevant, but I have voices switching staffs
in the piece I'm engraving.

The second question is not answered and should be considered something
like a bug.

Yeah, sorry for having added this fixme, but I just still can't
understand if this information is deprecated or not. Can anyone
enlighten me here?

Now you know the meaning of "||:". What would
then be the sense of ":||"?
"||:" produces a double barline at the end of
the bar before "||:" if
there is a linebreak. But at ":||" you want

Well, thanks for replying, but of course it didn't solve the problem. I did
not have the intention to insult you all, because I love lilypond, but for

do this? I tried it with "\display music" but I can't understand how
it works.
I give You a short example.

Hi Peter
Dynamics placed between piano staves can collide with
barlines. It makes no difference whether they are
centered or not. Unfortunately if this happens you
have to reposition the dynamics manually. There are
(at least) two ways to do this.
1. Dynamics are normally centered on the note
Dear Rune,
thanks for Your fast answer, but I think this stuff is a little bit

Why hasn't anyone in this thread pointed to the section on "Polymetric
