That's something completely different. José just wanted to ask LaTeX
to include some packages, whereas you want to replace the full LaTeX
program with another program (elatex).

I have two questions about my brandnew upgraded lily 2.0.1:
1. The "(music (scripts-coda))" doesn't seem to work anymore.
I used it for writing "D.S. al {CODA-SYMBOL}" above the staff. and now I don't
get the symbol but some numbers above the staff...

This is really a LaTeX question that is not really related to LilyPond
at all.
If you say
\noindent LEFT \hfill MIDDLE \hfill RIGHT
in a LaTeX document, the two \hfill commands will fill act like a
pair of rubber bands that stretch out evenly and put the word "MIDDLE"
in the middle.

Hi!
I wonder if anybody tried to typeset lyrics with cyrillic alphabeth? I think it should be sufficient to add the following lines
\usepackage[cp1251]{inputenc}
\usepackage[T2A]{fontenc}
to the header of the LaTeX document. But how could it be done just within the *.ly file and/or command line?
search the archives it was done. look for ario he was the person seeking
cyrillic.

Mats,
I am always looking for a way to make the hebrew support better.
I was wondering about unicode and thoughts about supporting it??

This clearly looks like a bug! We used to have the key signatures
always before the bar lines, but for some reason, Han-Wen changed
that 2003-06-20, according to the ChangeLog. I'm not sure what is
correct for situations when you have a key signature change in the
middle of a line, but in this situ
Hi,
I am trying to wangle the creation of a temporary extra staff that will

\center or \\center doesn't work? In LaTeX, \begin{center} and

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have small numbers in circles? I am

If you know how to do place normal text below the notes, the rest is
easy.
Just use Latex/TEX commands (by using \) instead of the text. e.g.
If the tex command is \small you must type \\small ok? Let's see a
practical example:

Ok, I get it. It's because Latex thinks the lilypond file is in the same paragraph.
The skipped line starts the new paragraph.
I've only just started using Latex and Lilypond. I've been learning a lot. Thanks
for the help.

I've looked in the docs, the mail-list archive and "Tips &
Tricks" on how to get around this problem, but to no avail.
Maybe I've just missed it.
The example below produces a collision between the dot on
the 'f' and the note head of the 'e.' In fact, the 'e'
almost completely hides the dot.

I have posted variations of this before and I am at least curious what
some of you do to save work here. My questions about "Frenched staves"
are just a subset of what I try to do to make my work easier *and* more
accurate. Multi-measure rests are also related here. As a professional

yeah this is sorta what I had in mind with the thread conditional text
et al.
One thing I have seen and it is really amazing are work arounds of
people that eventually become features.
I would hope that this continues, repeats in their present form are a
bugaboo for lilypond newbies, and the D.C.
