Yes. I find that to be true. I suspect that it has to do with the
installed fonts. I remember trying to use a French keyboard at the
Ecole Normal in Lyon and suppose that the font implementation is assumed
in the applications. This incompatibility seems to be at the
ghostscript level as tha

1. Tried unsuccessfully to build from scratch on 10.14.6 (Mojave) and
ran into a series of python dependency problems that I haven't fully
solved.
2. Downloaded the 3.1 dmg and successfullly run it on 10.14.6 (Mojave)
and 10.15.2 (Catalina). Nice job.

ndfile it works fine and SimpleSynth and VLC work fine
so I know the computer audio is ok.

I did work compiling FB with LP but gave in in favor of the MacPorts
version which is working for me. I'm running OSX 10.4.3 and don't have
much to say about Qt. I perhaps could answer specific questions about
what FB is using based on the console log if that would help.
