Actually, it didn't take me long to test it. It's spot on. Thanks!
Will let you know when I upload it into its repo.

Hi!
I'm translating Carmen Fantasy by Francois Borne into Lilypond.
I'm writing the score with flute/piano parts and when reaching 2 bars
before Moderato, the flute part has what I think is a cadenza while
the piano part has perfect measures to complete it (rest with
fermata). I tried writing the

I understand that the rules had changed over time and that back then
it was fine to do it that way.

there's an apparent dot written at the position of the f at the
opening of the bar. I didn't know if it was a staccato mark or other

Hi!
As you might have noticed from previous mails I have sent, I'm working
on a project to process works from Bach on lilypond.
I have already put up BWV 1013 and 1030 (I dare you to guess the
instrument that I play). However, each one of them has many different
editions. Right now I have set up

Oh, sorry you are right. Clicked on "reply" instead
Hi!
Suppose you were transcribing Bach's flute partita BWV 1013 from
manuscript. On the Bourree, on bar 48 there's a note that was
corrected on the manuscript but, if you ask me, it's kind of difficult
to see what Bach's final intent was. Was it a F that got corrected to
G or viceversa? So if
