Hello,
Still struggling with gregorian.ly:
So I compile first the gregorian to pdf then convert eps (directly as
dbackend=eps returns inverted black-white and very bad quality), and
include in mybook.ly as
\markup { \epsfile #X #20 #"rorateCoeli.eps" }
but I dont find how to crop the image to pri
Dear Matt,
I dont compose. I arrange, mainly church music (choir, brass-choir,
organ, piano) and theory (combining texts and music). Seldom using
parts...
The beginning was quite arduous, I had no idea of programmin and
wanted to arrange directly in ly. Got it but then came Frescobaldi and
changed

Anyway, "2.18.0" didnt like it.
And adapt this chinese thing (scheme) is still for me not an option.

How do you:
- set stanza # repeating at each new system?
- draw a line-separator between lyrics
Thanks again

Hello,
Considering a choir-setting with many stanzas, the text makes this is
a little bit ugly to read, specially for amateur-choirs in stressing
situation (concert...).
How does engravers eventually make these lyrics more readable?
I think of four possibilities:
- repeating the stanza # at each
Hello and Happy New Year to all,
is there a way to parentesize an accidental-only like in the attachement?
This is \key a-minor (or whatever key that doesnt contain a c-sharp)
and should give a notice that the last repeat of refrain CAN be
c-sharp (picard third).
Thanks in advance,
Francois

Hello,
I found long ago a way to center rests in single-staff polyphony. But
I dont find it anymore, neither in doc or google (or did I use wrong
words for searching).
To be more explicit, lilypond gives naturally the first rests of the
attachment (beat 2), and I try to obtain automatically the s

Some files contain \include "gregorian.ly" (version "2.17.30" says the
file), the others are "normal" music-fi

Hello,
Just wondering if nobody asked for that. Because I didnt found any

I need to assign line-Breaks only where I need them. Anywhere else
should never do line breaks. Unfortunately, lily breaks not only where
