I am finding this thread weird, sorry. There's a huge amount of help in the archives of this list in how to install and run openlilylib. A quick search would show that. It's a sort of FAQ. Also, lilypond is GPL, so does the following mean you are therefore not able to even use the program Karsten?

Reggie, You will need both bits of code. \once \override TrillSpanner.extra-offset = #'(0 . -0.2) The last number controls the vertical position. It will require experimentation and guesswork try a value as large as 3 and observe what happens to the trill spanner. It will work. regards, Shane On
