Carl,
I agree perhaps the mi and do could be a smidgeon wider for optical equivalence

I am using an include file for my hymn book with a line that redefines
\aikenHeads to use my modified mi so if this becomes the default I simply have
to drop that definition from the include file.

I would like to "compose" with the community with Lilypond.
Problem :
I play Djembé, a instrument without music notation. I would like to
write using Lilypond notation. But this notation can be wrong of
course. No one knows Djembé classical music notation, so no one can
say it is Ok, or wro

I can't get Lilypond to print at the end of the line. In the
following example, you'll note that:
- when the marking is at the end of the *last* line, it doesn't appear

Hi everyone,
I just felt the urge to try to express how awesome I find Lilypond!
It fitted so right in my way of working (I'm a Lisp programmer and a
scientist, so Emacs and TeX are my usual companions) that it
participated to make music an integral part of my daily life. I write

Thanks again for all the suggestions for the alternative mi
I have successfully compiled the new font with a miNarrow character. This
character has been horizontally scaled back to 100% and vertically scaled 110%.
Will submit the update for approval later. Here is a png showing both versions
