A judicious use of time distortion may help you here.

And this is relevant to the subject? How? Any suggestions on fixing the
real problem I'm having with the glissando?

Scratch that -- I had mismatched slurs at the beginning, and that
threw the whole thing off. Thanks anyway. :-)

I'm working on transcribing Sousa's "Fairest of the Fair" for Mutopia.
I just got to the Oboe part, and hit a roadblock. The Oboe part is
actually Oboe 1 and Oboe2 printed on the same staff, with only one set
of notes printing when they're playing together. Here's the first of
the sections where th

Why do you use << >> around a single staff? I don't know that it's giving
you any problems, but

I want to make a glissando go up from no note to a note. I tried using a
spacer note, it didn't work. I tried using hideNote and unHideNote
(basically reversed the sample in the snippets list) but it just
resulted in messed up measures. There is no example in the documentation
on how to do this
Is there a way to put vibrato on a note in the MIDI from a lilypond score?
Thanks,
Kees

Dear Lilypond users,
I wanted to switch on auto-completion for lilypond-files i vim.
I tried it with adding
autocmd FileType lilypond set omnifunc=lilypondcomplete#Complete
but without success.
How can I get it?

the templates in the documentation. I tried to make it easy to install.

they stand.
They may prove useful to others. I know I had a great deal of fun putt
