the notes are placed in \voiceOne and \voiceTwo, which may not be
what you want, as you already have other notes in those voices at

I am using lilypond 2.11.59 on a FreeBSD 6.3 system.
As an experiment, I wanted to create a simple troff document that would
include the EPS output from lilypond.
The lilypond source file is:

Glen,
You should get the current development version of LilyPond (2.11.6x). It

Hello,
I'm working on an assignment from my guitar instructor, and I'd like to
write it up with Lilypond. I've got it to work, but there are some tweaks
needed.
1) How do I factor out the common code? I'd like to make the chords a
function/macro, but when I do, I get an error for the fret diagram
I am using it to translate end edit an independent portuguese version of
"Counterpoint" by Kent Kennan and "Tonal Harmony" by Kostka and Payne.
It is really wonderful. I could send to you one chapter. It is in
portuguese, but it is understandable with the original to compare.

Em Sáb,
Hi Risto
I recently revised the section on beaming in the Notation Reference.
If you've not looked at it recently the answer might be there. See
NR 1.2.4 Beams. The precise method for changing the beaming depends
on the time signature and the beam duration, so a simple answer can't
be given.

Hi all,
I am musician, conductor. I just started with lilypond, and I like it very much.
I adapted the SATB vocal score template of the manual (Appendix D.4.1, p. 292).
I want to change two things:
1. Increase vertical spaces between the verses, i.e. the spaces between verse
one and two and bet

I don't know how you're trying to change the font, but LyricText
supports font-interface, which has font-name as a user-settable
property. Remember that for lyrics, you have to have a space on both
sides of the period, i.e.: \override LyricText . font-name
