I'm doing this to get percussion "drag" notation in lilypond 2.6:
\appoggiatura { e16[ e16 ] } \stemUp e4
The grace notes stems are as long as the main note - it would be better if
they were smaller.
Is there a property I can tweak to do this? I've looked, but couldn't find
anything relevant

I'd like to install lilypond 2.7 on a Fedora Core 4 box, on which all
the software is (so far!) managed by RPM. Has anyone created an RPM
package of 2.7?
Earlier, I tried to make a naive binary RPM using the installer script
from

I think I'll just re-do the score. It’s only two parts, and the
hassle of installing a translator that likely won’t work well is not
really how I want to spend my time.
Thanks

With printallheaders=##t, you can use the ordinary title or

I would generally agree, as the output of most translators is correct
but barely readable. On the other hand, I hope we'll manage to get the
MusicXML filter to be good
enough to be able to use Finale as a front-end, and Lilypond as a
back-end. If we - I mean, Han-Wen- don't, the output can stil

Or should I just re-notate the whole thing?
I know that this is just a way for me to admit to being a bit of a
masochist, but I generally find it easier (and just as time consuming) to
start over. I've tried using the lily code that Rosegarden, NoteEdit, and
Denemo produce, but I spend so muc
