Hello,
I am creating "segments" of music wherein each measure is a cluster of notes to

Hi
I am trying to put together some LP files with LP-book
running LP (2.2.6) gives a very satisfying result.
When running LP-book everything seems to go smoothly except when
converting the .dvi to .pdf (dvipdf).
I get the following messages:

Hi again list,
The quality of the output generated with lilypond --png is a lot lower then
that of a pdf. Is there anything I can do about this? Also, I wanna create
short examples much like those in the documentation of lilypond, any hints?
Thanks!

Hi,
- compiled tetex-3.0 on SuSE9.2.
- compiled lily2.4-CVS, now OK, thanks to the fixed autogen.sh (thanks,

- mv'd lilypond-profile to /etc/profile.d.
- echo $TEXMF gives:

I've checked, and feta20.afm appears to be where it should. I previously h
Hello list,
Im curious if its possible to \input{incredlibescore} into a latex project
in TexnicCentre (TeX IDE) with MiKTeX.
I noticed from the errors TeX created, it needed some fonts etc.
Cheers

This may be the wrong place to ask but..
I downloaded and installed jedit under wxp.
When I run it what seems to me a splash screen remains forever in the middle
of my screen and nothing else happens.. any clues?

The best way to move a text annotation further away from the stave is
to set the padding property. There are several examples in the

It looks as if you have installed the brand new version 3.0 of teTeX,
is that right?
In that case, I'm afraid that LilyPond 2.4.2 can get into some minor
problems, since it was designed to work together with version 2 of
teTeX. If you don't want the new teTeX for any other purposes, it might

Hey all,

I want to add two or three lines of text below the staff

I recommend to take a look at lilypond-book, using LaTeX for the

Just try to rerun setup.exe. When you get to the "Select Packages" view,
make sure that it wants to install version 2.4.2 of the lilypond

If this doesn't help, try the following:

If you use version 2.2 or 2.4, you can do like in the following example

The font symbol names are defined in the file pointed to by the

perhaps this is the wrong place to ask this question, but how would i use

in particular, i'd like to use flats and sharps that matches better with
the palatino font than the math font that latex uses for it (namely,
