Well, I think that's a bug in lilypond 2.0.x
To fix it:
edit c:\cygwin\usr\share\lilypond\2.0.1\scm\font.scm
you will find lines with cmss17, cmss12, cmss10, cmss8 and so on.
Well, cmss7 and below does not exist. So change all font names below cmss8
to cmss8.

I just installed the latest stable cygwin-based lilypond,
and together with convert-ly, despite a few glitches here and
there - when \grace is commented out, for instance - I must
say the transition went pretty well, even when dealing with

An interesting question anyone have experience with Amadeus?
How does Lilypond stackup to it?
What are its advantages, features etc.
If it is really so good then its features are something to shoot for.
If it is not so special then that surely shows Lilypond in a good light.
