Did you get your tie problem solved?  With 2.1.10 only the Allegro 
section printed for me.
It complains but typesets correctly. Apparently it is midi which is not 
being ties (no prob!). BTW, do not tell me 2.0.1 and 2.1.x will have 
incompatible syntaxes :-|
