A few questions about the best music typesetting program I've seen.
1.
Would it be possible to create full support for MIDI output, so that
Lilypond could be used as a professional MIDI sequencer (I personally find
this the best way to use Lilypond). The manuals say that MIDI output is not

Why not try the search facility in the FAQ:
- Click on FindPage
- Do a full text search on, for example, `blank'

Yes, but you'd better do it with TeX \ LaTeX. I get a script in the FAQ
who work perfectly.
I want create paper without any notation - clefs, barlines, notes -
just five line staffs like this

...
I need it for writing.
Is it possible with lilypond?
Also I may need to create paper with staffs and clefs for orchestral

No, I'm afraid not.
Using cpp was a bad idea, and running ly2dvi as filter causes troubles.
You could process the input with the m4 preprocessor instead:
define(gracen,\slurDown \grace {$1 8 () s} \slurBoth)
- and call t
How do you run ly2dvi as a filter, taking input from stdin, writing to
stdout?
