I don't think all these functions should be in
ly/music-functions-init.ly, but I don't know the best place for them.
Someone more familiar with the layout of code may advise. The one
function that should be here is the one you asked about in your earlier
mail - crossStaff.

As discussed on -devel, I've taken the functions Pavel developed to
support cross-staff-stems and put them into music-functions-init.ly.
This allows any user to use the functions to generate automatically
sized cross-staff-stems.

OK. It was not worth the effort for a two-word change.
I uploaded a new patch-set here as the changes were more
extensive. git-c
I actually only wanted to get rid of the whitespace errors plagueing
every test of this patch, but one programming error jumped out so badly
at me that I had to flag it as well.
