edhat/fedora use a whole lot of "cp" commands in their

Hi there,.. whats the "official" if there is... build distro for LFS?
I'd like to start playing with it with the minimum of hassle and effort,
I don't mind swapping host OS's.

now I don't remember making fstab in a previous section, and wasn't
expecting this warning. Is it an expected warning or have I done
something wrong?

slax would seem to be a dumb choice, it doesnt have gcc installed!
oh well now I am downloading knoppix4.0.2 hopefully I will proceed
better with this!

using the Slax livecd distro to follow the LFS
book,if so could you recommend a better livecd? Does my SATA drive pose
any problems with the LFS build since the livecd didnt like it.
