Hi guys,
Congratulations! it's a great event! Very very good thing! I answer here
to tell you that the blfs book, translated into French and maintained by
Denis Mugnier, is released too. We are very happy with collaborating
with the project and staying as synchronous as we are.
Thanks and I ho
Hi,
In the "About SBUs" section, one URL is mentioned but doesn't work. It
seems http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~sbu/ is now:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/~bdubbs/about.html
If it's true, I suggest you to fix in the book.

oh didn't know that LFS planned to migrate to git :( I hope the mail on
lfs-book will be as usable as they are with svn, because it the easiest
way to follow the updates to translate efficiently. I know that git,
used on CLFS, gives weird commits reports and it's hard to use them.
Well I reall
Hi,
Ok I'm not direct contributor to LFS and F can understand that
translation stuff isn't the priority of the upstream devs. However, I'd

Mainly because the reports of commits are
Hi,
Do you have an experience about the mailing lists on LFS and its
capability to receive attached files? It seems they are rejected, but is
it true? Because I'd like to ask contrib to send me their patches here,
but impossible if the mailing refuses attached files. What do you think?

Hi,
OK so LFS doesn't use anymore sysvinit, but Systemd. I thought the book
9ould use an approach like the CLFS one: one chapter if you use Systemd;
one if sysvinit (in CLFS: if you chroot; if you reboot). Given that the
choice is at runtime or config time, and not at install time, I think
