I noticed the thread several weeks ago regarding KX-TD1232 and daylight
savings time and meant to follow up. I wasn't aware that the system could
synch its clock with an outside source. Is this possible with the system
and the phone lines that we have? If so, how?

I was just checking my "Feature List Per Version" and see that it's
not listed as an added feature. Was it available from the beginning?

How are timezones and daylight savings handled? Is it configured on the
phone line so that local time is sent, or is there a place in the
KX-TD1232 to set the timezone?

It just uses whatever time the CO sends along
Be aware you need to install a CID card as well. They didn't include one
until the -7 revision.

My aging memory seems to remember it being available somewhere around -2
or -3.but I'm not certain. I AM certain that it wasn't available from
the "beginning"..

Yes, it's a common problem, here's why:
Every call made through the phone company's analog lines is attenuated
by a certain amount (I think it's 3db, but I don't recall completely).
That amount helps normal calls to sound better (in theory).
So when you make a conf call through the ksu, you have t
Does anybody have a list of phones that are compatable with the KXTD systems ?

Panasonic KX-T74xx, 72xx are what I would use.
KX-T70xx require 4 wires (XDP off)
Also standard telephones are compatible.
