The LAN card just gets you on the lan - somewhere on the lan you'll need an SMTP server to actually send the mail. Why Panasonic did not include a simple one in the box is beyond me. If the client has a network guy, he can set up all the outside stuff and he'll assign you an IP address to put in the TVA50. If you do it that way, it's pretty easy and takes the pressure off of you. Are you a phone guy or a network guy? And are you being paid for both? :) I'd let the network guys sweat the small stuff. Take a screen shot of the setup for the TVA email section and say, "I need these settings". <grin> Good luck - BTW - I suggest not auto deleting the original voice message if you "send message with email".
