I have a KX-TD1232 with a TVS-50 attached to it. I must be missing somthing easy here. The AA and voicemail work fine when no one answers the phone, however I cant figure out how to transfer a incomming call to a VM box (ie hes not here right now, would you like his voicemail?) Your probably go

You need to program a button for "Voicemail Transfer", otherwise known as VTR-165. Now for all sorts of questions: 165 should work for voicemail. Has the system been working already or is it a new installation? Is the TVS digitally integrated properly? (i.e. was it installed with "quick setup"?) A

If there is an existing feed, use it. You don't need cat 5. After all, it's probably being carried on 50 year old cable for 2 miles to your building, another hundred feet of cat 1 is insignificant. To answer your question, if you wire it up like an ethernet cable (straight-thru), it'll work just f
