Hello All- I have a 624 put in recently and I notice when a call comes
in that all dss buttons light up at a given phone, then extinguish when
call is answered. All phones are programmed to ring all lines. Customer
asked me why and I said I'll find the answer, well- I'm looking! Thanks

because all phones ring, the dss buttons will light up. program a phone not
to ring, the dss will not light up.

That is normal. Any DSS / BLF button on a phone or a console will light as
CO's ring that ext.; phone's active. Note if a phone is not programmed to
ring the BLF / DSS won't light up. Totally normal.

o.k.- looks like program 112 is the fix, I guess I've been installing
ksu's abnormally since I have never had this happen on any analog or
digital system until the 624-4! Dp.

I've got a KX-TD816 which I need to program via my KX-T7433 since my serial
port was knocked out by lightning.
I want to disable CO2 which I no longer use.
When I pickup a handset, CO2 is automatically selected (because its the last
line in call group 1 ??).

That will delete co2 from the system.
If you wanted to keep it in the system but just not make it the first co to
call out on, that would be

It's late, I realize I didn't completely answer your actual question,
to remove it from group 1 use program code 401 instead of 400.
If you put co2 into a different group, it will still be accessed from your
phone, but not as the first outgoing line.
