About the problem with TA308.
I'm going to make a CallerID software and my KX-TA308 doen't
show the callerid (it doen't have the callerid card).
The problem is that IF I insert a callerid card I will get the callerid
info AFTER the call and this is useless.
Personaly I preffer to get callerid info from the serial port
but panasonic doesn't have such a function.
So the only solution is to get the info from the line with a modem BUT I
checked and if I do not have a card the pbx is cutting the callerid
info.
My question is how can I make my software read callerid date (at
ring time) on KX-TA308 with or without the callerid card.
For those interested I'm from Romania where we have callerid
data.
PS. My company does already make a call accounting software that works
with over 20 pbx types and now we are going to make a callerid software.
So the part I don't understand is you keep asking about CID and give a
number. In the U.S. the DIGITAL systems provide CID in advance of a call on
the serial port. In plain English, we're trying to tell you to buy a
DIGITAL sytem, be it the TD-308,the TD-816 or the TD-1232 and the CID module
and it will do what you want.
