Hi Guys, Thanks for all the feedback ! One good thing is the 911 center is county based, so I don't have those problems to deal with. The PD is only using POTTS lines so taping into the CO looks like the best solution for now. The system is being installed into a new municipal building, so the

I've got 2 Nortel's at 2 different PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points--911 centers). Both have Dictaphone recording equipment. The first one was installed about 2 years ago. They record 8 digital phones (about 15 digitals for the PD total) and 8 analog inputs; radios and such. Dictaphone actua

They may not want all lines (or sets) recorded. What I was alluding to in an earlier post was the fact that, in IL, there must be a non-recorded line available for private calls. For example, a prisoner talking to an attorney must NOT be on a recorded line. I believe there must be a non-recorded
