Simple question, but different answers...
Does the KX-T185 DID unit support 2-way DID?
Does anyone know this for sure and not a guess?
Thanks

Hello,
1- Is there anyway to use DISA card , and at same time restricte callers to
dial certain extension numbers?
I tried to select "all security" and programed " Auto Attendant" , But it
doesn't work.
2- Does anyone tried to power down "slave" cabinet in a double cabinet

We have a KX/TD-1232 and TVS200. The start of the company greeting is
getting cut off so callers frequently only hear "..nk you for calling..."
or even just "...you for calling...". We've tried adding some delay between
the 'start recording' tone and when we start speaking the message, but this

Yes, it will support 2 way DID. DTMF is passed to the CO.
Now, which carrier offers 2 way DID?

Randy,
Do you know ...?... because you've actually done it ?
I'm saying that because I'm recalling a statement from a Pana Instructor
that indicated to me that it was one-way...
I'd like to be wrong I could use an app with 2way DID on the 185...
Thanks Randy,

Ameritech in my area does... I was talking to them today about pricing. I was
figuring on one-way (incoming) then they asked me if I needed one-way or two-way.
Thus the reason for this discussion. If it actually can support two-way, then it
changes the whole way I was going to do this ins
Mark,
I have a KX-TD185 module installed in my 1232, and it would APPEAR that it
supports 2-way DID. The programming supplement has info on it and the
programming locations seem to exist. It lets me set the outgoing format to
Immediate or Wink start and the Wink Timeout value. In theory it wou

I seem to recall reading that you could have combination
speaker+handset mode. But can I find it in TFM? Naw...
I need the only active mike to be on the handset; but a room
will be listening...
Howtodo?

Hello,
I've purchased a KX-TVS50 Voice Mail System, though I may have jumped in too soon.
Can the unit be connected to regular, analog, home telephone lines? I realize, I
won't be able to take advantage of many of the features the system offers. But can I
connect it to two home business lin

It's called "Off Hook Monitor" Program [148].

Carl,
Thanks for the help. I'm not sure whether to reply to you or the group.
But, can you answer two more questions for me? Does the unit connect to the
center pair, when using analog circuits, or the outer pair? What's the deal
with programming? Is it only done through the RS232 interface?
Well,
Yes it can... but you will lose MANY MANY MANY features, and programming it
will be very disappointing.
You can set up some features through the terminal, but every time you want
to check a message or record any greetings you will need to call your other
phone line to get into the system!
Charles,
Thank you for the input. I'm considering the KX-T624. Does Panasonic make
anything smaller will work? What's your minimum phone recommendation?
Thanks again for the help.
