I got fiber from Verizon in to my office but got a voice line from them over the fiber, as well as I use 2 voip lines through the data connection. I use the voice line for dial up data with no problems. I would expect VOIP lines to be intermittent at best for modem usage. Charles On 1/10/07, M

Mark, You bring up a couple good points, the very first thing I would try is to pad the line at least 3db it seems as though the VoIP telephone "people", most of whom wouldn't know a REAL telephone line if it bit them in the "you know", tend to set everything to HOT. In the "old time" telephone
