This should be a fun one . . . I moved to a new home and the phone company only ran fiber to it. (Originally I said Whoopee!) However, working with Panasonic, Nortel, and Inter-Tel phone systems requires that I dial in to them usually using the proprietary software provided by the respective manufacturer.
My problem is this: Now that I am on VOIP lines (BroadVoice) I cannot connect to these systems. The phone manufacturers say the problem is with the VOIP line vendor and the VOIP line vendor says that they do not support data connections. (I do note that fax transmissions do work) The Broadvoice router does allow for complete control and editing of all settings, (not like Vonage) but I have no idea as to what setting(s) need to be tweaked. Note - Previously, I did need to lower the volume settings on the incoming side due to my auto-attendant not being able to understand the callers "press one for" commands. I could actually hear the touch tones being distorted when I called myself. Any suggestions? _________________________________________________________________ KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt
