I've set these up with VOIP gates for guest calling instead of POTS.
Broadvoice offers a plan for local only that's around nine dollars a month.
I've had this set up running at two locations with no problems for a few
years.
One thing I'd like to point out though - While an operator is not needed
Intercom 391 it is! :)
Thanks!

HI,
Trying to set up strobes on a 1232. In the old 1232-11D we just set up
parallel extension in the programming and ran a duplex modular jack into the
wall plate. After moving to the KX-TD1232 this no longer worked.
The Wheelock strobes will work if plugged directly into the extension jack
with
umber of clients on the broadvoice
service and they have had no problems for over two years.
The install is scheduled for the 11th. So any additional info at this point
would be a help.
Thanks!

The client needs to set up Comcast Digital voice for his home system. A
KX-TD1232.
The Comcast installer informed him that their service is not compatible with
this brand of PBX?
Does anyone know what parameters need to be changed to make this work?
Thanks,
Raymond Martin

Hi,
Here is the system;

Auto Answer on
7311 on
With this in mind I need to be able to cause a discrete ring on the
clients phone while he is talking with auto answer on and the other CO
in use. I'd like to accomplish this with no user
