Here is the system;
KX-TD816 with 2 incoming lines.
7433 phones.
Auto Answer on
7311 on
With this in mind I need to be able to cause a discrete ring on the
clients phone while he is talking with auto answer on and the other CO
in use. I'd like to accomplish this with no user input from the client.
Now the client and his wife want to be able to talk on the phones, using
both CO lines, and then intercom each other during an outside
conversation. However when both CO lines are in use the clients cannot
intercom each other, no discrete ringing.
What I am trying to coble together at the moment is to:
Take an unused extension and jump it into CO3 and another into CO4.
This way the client can pick up CO4 and cause the discrete ring on CO4
even while both 'real' CO lines are in use.
As I do not want virtual lines 3 and 4 to ring and Light up on every
incoming call this involves some additional programming steps. I also
do not want every phone in the house to ring when the clients are
intercomming each other with this method.
I am looking for a more elegant programmed solution that this.
