Just a thought... You are using the gdn button on the phone, what
happens if you do not use the gdn button... would that let you get
through to the co faster right by pressing the co button? (I'm away
from home so I can't test it)

Take the bells out of some old mechanical external ringers and then
mount the assembly securely to the underside of everyone's chair and
wire them to the CO lines as previously noted. That way they'll know

understand you can't get CID info before then.
But it seems the call is not available at all during that first ring period.
