Rene,
I was just at Spicewood Airport on Saturday looking at a plane. I met Dana
Martin and a number of other pilots that day at a get together in Danas
hangar.
I have 3 KR2s with plans for all three. Were you needing to look at some
plans or your needed a copy of plans for your certifications?
Hello KR Net,
I've runout of ideas on how to get a reference set of plans for my KR2 - N44774.
Built by Gary GArvin in 1986- switched hands 5 times- never flown!!! - new AWC.
Will start Phase 1 testing in about 3 weeks. Has conventional gear.
VW 1835 engine. Single stick. single 14.5 gal tank.
It may be time to restrict the posts to those that have plans or flying
KRs. All others can be read only. It's a method filtering down the
posts to serious builders and flyers.

I disagree. I am buildingjust not a KR. If I can't
post, how can I add learned experiences or ask
questions that I can't find in the archive?
Shall we shut out the experimental world from your
knowledge because of choice of aircraft? Seems like a
waste of lots of talent.

If you go the PR type I wouldn't expect an 8 to 10 knot increase in
speed. That comes from a design with a lot more HP designed to cruise at
a lot higher speed. I would however expect 5.

Wow, that's over 10 knots. That is better than I thought you would get.
Also you reminded me of a question I need to ask. Last night I put the
final touches to me Diehl gear legs. I put trailing

No, I left a bit of clearance around the gear leg. I then use some white

understood the issue.
I read twice all the answers Isaac got to his message and did not find
anything even slightly related to "ethnicity".
I invite you to read them back and tell me where I go wrong.
