I have push tube control for my KR2 from the dual stick assembly all the way to
the elevator horn with a transfer bell crank approximately 12 inches behind the
seat/rear spar. It is also drilled to allow for the same and reduced
deflection with same total movement at the elevator, but mor

Just for reference my pushrod from control stick to bellcrank is also
T6-.058x.75. The one from bellcrank to elevator horns is T6-.035x1.5. Like
I said, this is for reference only but it sure seems like you are in the
ball park.

Would it be okay to add another 1 inch tube over top of the 3/4" and secure it
at both ends with the same AN3 bolts, effectively doubling the span?

It might work but, it would double the weight (and aft at that) and in a KR
that's not good a good thing. You could cut the 3/
Colin, I agree with Lynn in that adding any undue weigth aft in a KR is not
a good thing. Looking back at second post, you mention the pushtubes are
secured to the bellcrank using AN3 bolts. In a effort to understand your
install, how is this being accomplished; are you drilling through the t
