The drawings for the WAF's are on page 23 (FWD) and 24 (AFT) of the builders
manual, and the bit on the lower longerons is on page 14.

I have 2 complete sets of plans and an extra plans book and all the books
have the WAFs in them and they are all the same. I recently investigated
all trhee very closely when I encountered my broblem with the WAF Bolt
holes on my birt because the bolts "Fidn't Dit" later discovered

I ordered my 4130 from Hawker Pacific, they cut to width, and in lengths
about 2 feet long. I cut to correct size with band saw and drilled sanded,
easy .

I am on the scrounge for parts, I need some undercarriage fittings, the
Diehl ones for fitting to the spars, if anyone has an old or disused set I
would be interested, is the length of the kr2 gear legs the same as the length
of the kr2s, and can you make the legs from Aluminium, failing all

I am also wanting wing attachment fittings, I would think it would be pretty
easy to make thses at home, send a cad file to the CNC water jet guy and have
them cut out, I am told they can do them here to +/- 2 thou, will the bolt
holes need reaming? and what s the best way to do this, fit them

Are you sure about that? All of my AN3 bolts are closer to .188" in
diameter. I wouldn't want any slop there either...

Chris:
The plans should have drawings for the WAF's but mine does not have the
diameters spelled out for the aft spar holes but they are AN-3 bolts. You
should be able to get the dimensions of the grip diameters from an AS catalog
but beware of tolerances as the WAF's on my bird are undersized
Drill the bolt holes undersized then ream. You do one at a time,
KEEP
the reamer square to the work. Put it in the drill press and hand turn.
Lubricate

I am back to the Dowel & Emory paper sice the WAF's are already insyalled on
the closed up wing I can not even use a hand drill let alone a drill press so
this will take a while. I already had the wings on with ordinary bolts so I
know they fit that way but they only go on the 1st half of
