Today I flew my plane for 3.1 hours, continuously (except for taking on a
little fuel), and did 15 pretty decent landings, with several being nothing
short of squeakers! Up until number 13, I'd never registered more than 1.5 g's
on the meter. Number 14 was just about full stall, so

help. I feel much better about your flying skills now. It will be a pleasure
to fly together to the Gathering if you want. It sound like you finally had
some fun in YOUR airplane. Now we can all say

Yep, new throttle is installed, and the friction lock is far better than a
button-lock. And I made the cowling snorkel a little more permanent by
epoxying it in place
Now that was a story I liked to read. Congrats on a great day of flying. I
too took to the skies this morning at 6:30am. The air was a smooth as glass.
A truly enjoyable flight. That's another hour under my belt. I am finally
getting my air/oil separator to not dump so much oil overboard. There was

I am at the begining of a KR build, and am following your experiences daily.
You are not the only pilot rating landings bt the g meter- my buddy put my
AA-1 onto the asphalt at 5.2
G's and bent the prop at a cost of 4 months and a near major overhaul. Your

If it is the type that has a red lead that coils around one of the spark
plug lead. Then you may wont to try what a friend of mine did . (He used the
tiny tac on a Jaberu eng,) when he first put it on it was giving him crazy
readings so after many attempts t
Congratulations Mark, well done you are a KR pilot, and may I add "a damn
good builder too." The little gremlins you chase will soon be gone, when
you consider all the time and materials into it, they are only small
items.
