Less has moved to Arkansas and lost touch with George about 10 years ago. I
know his son bought land and developed an airport in East Texas
There was a KR-2 at Oshkosh, (late 70.s), that had dual instruments. I
inquired about the double instruments, and the owner said that he lived
in Sweden, (or maybe Norway?) and the Gov. required backups on some
instruments. He said he was going to fly the KR-2 to his home country. I
don't know
Speaking of mystery airplanes, here is a photo of a highly modified KR
that was at the 1990 KR Gathering at Rough River, Kentucky, the first
Gathering I attended. I've only missed one since. It had a small
Lycombing and was modified to try for some distance records. I've never
seen or hear
