If the micro is well mixed, I have thinned it down to
Add alcohhol, 10 to 15% when the mix micro-epoxi is ready. You can re use
alcohol again if necessary.

I like using just micro and epoxy as a light weight and low cost filler, but
I hate waiting overnight before I can sand it. The Bondo types of fillers
are great at speed, but suck for weight. Superfill is light, but also takes
too long to dry. The polyester fillers don't stick to epoxy.

Brian, don't forget about the power of heat. If you're not talking about a
huge area, a few heat lamps or bright halogen lamps heating t
plenty of faster drying epoxies but all the ones I know of are a lot thicker
than the slow laminating epoxies.

Thin the thicker epoxy with alcohol ( We call Mentholated Spirits) then add
your micro, the alco should evaporate , Try a small amount first

I found that super fil cures out much more quickly than resin. I just wish
that they made a thinner for it.
Light Weight Bondo is heavy, but it cures almost too quickly and has a
sticky surface like Vinyl Ester that you have to grind through.
