I was thinking of that since I make a very thick micro now then thin it
enough to spread easily, but I have been noticing that if you use too much
alcohol the micro seems to separate out of the epoxy.

plenty of faster drying epoxies but all the ones I know of are a lot thicker
than the slow laminating epoxies.

Thin the thicker epoxy with alcohol ( We call Mentholated Spirits) then add
your micro, the alco should evaporate , Try a small amount first
