I am looking for some advice on tig welders. The main players seem to be Miller or Lincoln. I currently have a Miller 225G portable welder/generator that I absolutely love. However, on the tig side the Lincoln seems to be a little less expensive. I have done some reading on the Lincoln 185 and the

Steve: I would suggest TIG accept its expensive. Not only the welder but you will need Argon gas which is also expensive. One of the smaller MIG welders With core wire is probably the most reeasonable price wise and is easy to get a good looking weld but play with it a while and test some weld
