I have a Miller Syncrowave 250 Tig Runner, less the pulse feature that I bought about a year ago. I still have it setting in the garage, just like I unpacked it. Never even added the coolant or tied in the leads. Here is my point. After setting in the Texas hot garage thru the summer I have often wondered what it is doing to the digital control circuit board. Im afraid to turn it on now! I think if I had it all to do over again I would get the Lincoln 250 less the fancy controls.. If the digital lighted board goes out your lookin at 1000 bucks right off. Like I said it may be fine for heat but I have wondered. Im in the process of building a house and shop to set it in and weld boats planes or what ever comes along. I also have a lincoln 160 plasma cutter that is way cool. I use it with my gas powered miller 250 Bobcat and a 175 amp hobart mig welder. The plasma cutter cuts like butter! One thing I do know is that tigging is hard on equipment and some of the smaller units are really taxed. A small job here and there is okay but for real welding better get a big unit with cooling! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen Teate" <ste...@compositecooling.com> To: "KRnet" <kr...@mylist.net> Sent: Monday, March 06, 2006 9:25 AM Subject: KR> Welders
