Gents,
We will be allowed to race in the Airventure Cup race under the
"Sportsman" class. The class includes both VW and Corvair powered
aircraft. The final class distinction, course and rules will be out
soon. I will post them when I get them.

My name is Jeff Lange and am a pilot of a VW powered aircraft. Over
the years I have desired to fly my aircraft in cross country races,
but they are few and far between, and most of them are too long for a
small aircraft's fuel supply. I am currently trying to gauge the
