I have always made my own for large models.
I get someone good on a wood lathe to make a plug to the shape I want, then
make my own.
Machine up a backing plate, and balance,
Or get a GA aircraft one you like and cut it down to size.

I cut out of a 3/4 inch thick piece of plywood a ten inch circle using
a fly cutter with a 1/4 inch drill bit in the center

Great idea, but you could then use that as a plug and make a mould off it,
then if you are not happy, make an other spinner
