Pat,

     One layer of glass but I do not remember what weight.  It was almost 30
years ago so the memory has faded as to some of the paticulars.  Just use
one layer and when you cut the 3/4 inch backing board away use your best
judgement as to its strength.  Remember it is being used in a non-structual
area so it does not have to be as stong as some other parts of your bird.  I
will send a seperate message showing how I mounted it with an attachment
picture or drawing.  (Attachments are not permited on the Net)
