The net has been slower the past few months, so I will give you an update on
snakebite. The plenum is almost done on the new engine. We have made several
changes to the system, but think that all will be ok. I have photos but they
are not on the web site yet. I called and talked to

Snakebite has not flown since Copperstate, mid October. I burned an exhaust
valve. I got the valve fixed but went to CA to Richard Shirley's place to help
rebuild the engine that I bought from him. We ran into an issue with the case
and I returned without the engine. Richard is go
Well all of the Glass work is done on snakebite. I was out to the airport today
doion the final sanding on the cowl and it is ready for paint Sat AZ. I will
be meeting with Charlie Reeves on Sun AZ to go over the plans for the trip to
the Gathering. I am sooo excited for the Gathering. Th
Tell Charlie, if he does not monitor this list that I love the flying photos
over the rough terrain on his website. I have one of them as my desktop
wallpaper.

Snakebite is almost ready for the air again. As most of you know I had an issue
with the charging system. A few phone calls to Steve Bennet, and a feew
dollars later, and I replaced the bad parts. I installed the nav and strobe
lights, Aux fuel pump plug and landing lights. After th

removed, wires and lights added. I now have wing tip strobes, and nav lights.
My hand held radio has a power jack. The landing lights are hooked up and the
Aux fuel pumb is plumbed and wired. The wings was put back o
