I agree with Phil...the gasket set probably was interchangeable, but it's improbable that a tractor would need an "in-flight" adjustable mixture control. For those interested in the how the MA3 aircraft carb mixture control works, here's the inside of one, at http://www.n56ml.com/swift/mixture

So you're saying the carb that came off your tractor had the same mixture control as the one on your O-200? OR are you just saying the needle, gaskets etc were the same? All the tractor carbs I've seen have the knurled knob multi turn needle adjustment, none of them had the mixture control like the

I don't believe the MA3 is a tractor carb. Marvel-Schebler makes a bunch of carbs for tractors that look similar but what makes it an MA3 is the type of mixture control it has. For instance, there are 4 "styles" of "main jet" controls, in their manuals, they call them "power adjustments". There is

Has anyone checked out the carb's at(google) "marvel ma3 tractor carburetor" ? The price sure looks good. I'm running an MA-3A (I think that is the number) on my 0-200 and haven't touched it since doing a rebuild and installing it 450+ hours ago. I recall mine having the metal float an

Has anyone ever looked into carbs that are/were used on the 65/75/85 HP continentals? Also, I know that Phil Matheson used dual Bing carbs on his VW. Also, the Rotec comes in a size that works with the VW. There are also the AeroCarb and the Revflow, but I don't recommend either one of them. If
