The correct size Ellison for the < 80 HP VW, is the EFS-2, which is no longer manufactured. I understand that Rotec makes one that is similar and in the EFS-2 size. I have heard or read that the EFS-3A, the $1300 one, can be used on the smaller engines, but have never known anyone to try it and report on it. I was tempted back when I was running the VW, but then came across a used EFS-2, which I have since sold to some lucky soul out there. The Ellison is "plug and chug", "set it and forget it".
