I checked out these links, and the one Gavin Mcgill posted, and it looks
like this would be incredibly easy to do, but a couple of questions come to
mind.
Which model of double sided tape do you use. My guess would be the high
performance stuff that bonds to plastic and painted surfaces.

Has anyone here got a lead on where I can buy Mylar for the aileron gap

Aileron gap seals are very simple to make. You simply get some Mylar wide
enough and long enough to cover the gap and apply it to the bottom of the
wing with 3M double sided tape. Her are the links to where you can buy what
you need. You can paint this Mylar if you wish to. I installed mine in

Ever wanted to seal those gaps on your ailerons or even your rudder and
horizontal stabilizer? Troy Petteway has proven performance can be greatly
enhanced, especially your climb performance, if you close the gaps on the
bottom of your ailerons. This is especially true on the new AS50xx airfoil.

I won't argue that Troy saw an improvement in performance with the new wing,
but I found no advantage to adding gap seals to the RAF 48 airfoil.
Several years ago I tried the mylar film on my KR and carefully documented the
performance with and without the gap seals. In short, I found that i
