As mentioned by a couple of people on here, the 1/4" nylaflow tubing has a lot
of expansion when under pressure and sacrifices a great deal of brake pressure
to tube expansion. I have changed over 6 planes from 1/4" to 3/16" nylaflow
tubing with significant improvement in brake function. Those i

When you say 11x4.00x5 are you referring to the tyre size that you want to
use on the rim? Ik my memory serves me correctly, that is the old "lamb"
tyre size. I have a set of those on my grove wheels on my KR project right

As mentioned as well, the tube size used feeding the brakes makes a

to my inquiry. I find it very disconcerting to order stuff that you are not
familiar with, online. They do look very good and I was surprised that the
price was in line with the Matco prices. They did not show an 11 X 4.
Yes, I also suspect the tubing and when I replace these brakes with the
Matco's that I just ordered, I am going to replace all the tubing as well
with what Matco recommends, so there will be no excuses for them to not be
working. I know it is stupid of me to not try to work through this problem

How do you attach something to the end of the axle, that can be used for the
attach point for the wheel pant?

I have Matco, I drilled the axle, as per the KR instructions, made a "C"
clip to replace the split pin through the bearin
and a nutplate
attached to it.

I have decided to ground the Black Bird again, due to the poor braking.
Stopping is possible, but using brakes to turn is not, and this is what has
made the decision for me. I don't know if it is the weight of the plane, or
the way I have the Tracy O'Brian brakes installed. I did not have this
