I'd like to make a little comment about flying my KR2, Granted I have only
clocked up 5 hrs on it now in the last 3 day since I started flying it myself,
but all the hype i had read about while building it, with being a very
sensitive if not over sensitive plane to fly is absolute rubbish! or I

What gear do you have on it? Three point landing is not the KRs strong
point unless your mains are a little longer to get closer to stall angle
of attack.

OK, I am not in the market to buy another KR-2 right now but you mentioned one
of them as being Saturn powered. I have never heard of anyone doing a Saturn
engine conversion for an experimental. I would love to see pics of that.

I've contacted Rick Human in the Houston area, but his is down for a condition

Hi guys, Steve here. I have flown my KR many times at night. Went to Dayton
few years ago to the Wright Bros. Ceremony and left at 4 am and landed in
Albany, GA 3 and a half hours later for fuel. Also made a trip from Augusta, GA
down the coast to Fxe with one stop for fuel in Daytona. Talked to

Like Steve, I too have flown at night. It's usually a lot smoother. I like
the part about turning off the landing light if you don't like what you see.
