Hello to all, I have a question for the group can anyone tell me how much your flight instruments are on average ? Is everyone buying them all new or ebay or what ? Im talking normal stuff nothing fancy just the basics for navigation VFR only. Thanks

Hello to all, I have been wondering if I could use my ham station as my radio It will cover the VHF band quite well as well as some fun on the side. It might be a little large and over kill but it could work I thing. Has anyone done this sort of thing or is everyone just sticking with

Hi Ben, In my KR I always carried my avionics handheld and my Icom 2SAT. Avionics used to get out of the control area and then hamming on the fly. Once from the west coast to Calgary I ran out of battery on my avionics and went on to IPARN which is a coast to coast link and got hold of a buddy
