Today started at about 6am. Ok 5am. With a hour drive. Since my KR is not in
the air yet, I volunteered for aircraft parking. I have worked fuel venture in
the past but they have not run the race for 2 years. I will let you know,

There were NO KRs at Copperstate this year. I flew my newly finished
SuperCub Replica rather than the KR and Lee VanDyke's KR is still in pieces.
However, a few KR builders did stop by to chat in the shade under the Cub
wing, and I really did enjoy getting to see you guys and talk KRs. The turn
KRNetters,
The Copperstate Fly In is coming up in Casa Grande, AZ this weekend. While I
won't have the KR there this year, I will be there in my newly finished
SuperCub (The Grizzly Cub). Please stop by to say hello. Even though I'm flying
the yellow plane this year, I'll be happy to talk KRs.

Hi All,
Anybody planing on going to the Coppers
The weather for Copperstate is going to be a warm one, high 80's to low
90's. So bring your sun screen and warm weather clothing.

Netters,
There was a pretty good turn out at the Copperstate Fly-in. Jeff Scott with

I met Jeff on Friday, and I saw your airplane back there on the back 40 :) I

Had a long chat with Jeff - very nice guy. He recalibrated my ideas of
whether or not
I noticed that two KR?s received 1st and 2nd in the Custom Built Wood

first place KR-2 and to Jeff Scott of Los Alamos, NM for his second place
KR-2S. It is good to see fellow KR builders bringing honor to the KR.

Glad to hear so many KRs are getting to Copperstate.
When I was in PHX there were only a couple each time.
Those folks need to see a REAL home-built for a
change.

Steve and I were the only KRs there, but we faired pretty well in the judging.
There were a number of the KR crowd there to keep us company (get your planes
finished and flying guys!).
One interesting experience from Copperstate. A guy chatting with Steve Glover
