When I had the STC done on my Cessna 150 (Cont.0-200) the mechanic
changed the timing and set the idle higher and stamped the new timing
advance on the engine plate--don't remember the exact numbers.

Most certified aircraft engines that can burn 87 octane Mogas require nothing
other than the STC paperwork. However, there are several caveats.
If it has a Stromberg NAS carb, you need to ensure that it has the Delrin
needle valve instead of the rubber tipped metal needle valve. The Delrin

from Les Criscillo on exactly how to go about it, I have successfully cut out
my aft spar. It took me about 2 hours to cut it out and clean up the joints.
I just got back from Kinko's, where they printed up
